On our 100 acre farm in southwestern Ontario, we have a diverse selection of livestock. Our small herd of Berkshire pigs (a heritage breed native to England) are slower growing animals, but able to live outside for most of the year. They are on a grass-only diet for the early summer months, and switch to a mixed diet when palatable grasses are not as available. Our famous Berkshire honey garlic sausages are guaranteed to tickle your taste buds.
Our beef cows are Galloway, another heritage farm breed. Similarly slow grown on a strictly grassy diet, our herd is given the time to age naturally and develop that unmistakeable pasture-raised flavour. Try our selection of hearty steaks and 100% beef burgers on the BBQ this summer.
We are striving to preserve the heart of agriculture on our farm.
